STARBITE ART
Starbite's art is nothing short of magical and enthralling. Each piece captivates with a dynamic interplay of color, drama, and storytelling, evoking a unique sense of nostalgia. This project has inspired me to create a seamless user interface that allows viewers to connect deeply with the art, enhancing their overall experience.
overhauling the design
As a foundation I stripped the stie down to it's most basic functions and established the needs of the artist and their target audience- including fellow and aspiring artists, fans, and potential clients.
I also sought stakeholder input for what they felt their site was missing - and how they hoped it would look and feel.
initial research
I created personas for the two types of users I identified, mapped out a user journey, and conducted a competitive audit. This provided my baseline data that helped me establish what the user's goals were and what my design needed to accomplish for them. Essentially users needed explorable content, purchasable merchandise, and means for contacting the artist.
wireframing
With the user's values and needs established, I used paper wireframes to efficiently explore different layout and function ideas.
